Traffic Awareness, Nasha Mukti Abhiyan and Cyber Security Programme at DDR Group of Colleges
DDR Group of Colleges organised an awareness programme on Traffic Awareness, Nasha Mukti Abhiyan (Drug De-addiction Campaign), and Cyber Security on 13 October 2026 at 10:00 AM in the Seminar Hall. The programme was conducted by the Station House Officer (SHO), Farrukhnagar, along with his team, to educate students about road safety, the harmful effects of drug abuse, and the importance of online security.
During the programme, students were made aware of the importance of following traffic rules, practising safe driving habits, and understanding their responsibilities as road users. The session emphasised that road safety is a shared responsibility and that following traffic regulations can help prevent accidents and save lives.
As part of the Nasha Mukti Abhiyan, the students were sensitised to the harmful physical, psychological, and social effects of drug abuse. The session highlighted the importance of staying away from drugs, making informed choices, and encouraging a healthy and responsible lifestyle. Students were motivated to spread awareness about drug de-addiction and contribute to building a drug-free society.
The programme also focused on cyber security, highlighting the need to remain vigilant while using the internet and digital platforms. Students were encouraged to protect their personal information, use strong passwords, avoid suspicious links, and stay alert to online fraud and cybercrime. The session helped emphasise the importance of responsible and secure digital practices.
